Brianna Grace: March 2006

3 Month Update!

Hello Everyone!

I know it seems like yesterday that I was just born, but I am growing up so fast. Mommy and Daddy find it really hard to believe. I have been trying to talk to them, but they just don't seem to understand my "baby talk" quite yet! I also rolled over for the very first time on March 8th. Daddy and Mommy were home to see it, they got so excited it made me cry. My Mommy is able to be home with me full time now, and I love it. We play lots of games and she has been teaching me many new things. One of my favorite things to do is to copycat her when she sticks her tongue out at me. Believe it or not, I already have a security blanket too! I call it my "Silkie"! It has been a great security to me now since I have been teething really bad. Mommy also gave me my first cereal around two weeks ago, I like it a lot, my tummy just hasn't quite gotten use to it yet; but the applesauce helps and makes it taste even better too! The latest thing I have been doing is standing up (only when Daddy or Mommy hold me up), I just don't like being still now. Well, I guess if I MUST, I better go and take a nap:)

Another Trip!

Hey Everybody!

I just got back from seeing my Paw Paw, Maw Maw, Mot, Uncle Trey and Aunt Kelli in Edgefield. At Paw Paw and Maw Maw's house I met my cousins Kayden and Trapp for the very first time. Kayden was so excited to hold me. Trapp wasn't too sure about holding me, but he did like looking at me. I was also able to ride the "Mule" that's Paw Paw's Kawasaki golf-cart thing. I also met Precious (Maw Maw's dog). I had a really great time laughing and playing with everyone. Well here are some pictures of my weekend, hope you enjoy!

A Lot to Overcome!

Hey Everyone!
Sorry it has been so long since I have posted. We have had a lot going on the last couple of weeks. As most of you know Brianna was sick the week before last. In short of it all she just ended up having an ear infection, was teething, and had a cold. We had to get a saline and suction from her nose, then go to the hospital for her chest x-ray, plus blood work. Then the next day the doctor called back and said they needed to see her again because they had found 2 types of bacteria in her blood. So they stuck her 4 times to try and get her blood work. We finally found out it was just a bad sample of blood the hospital took. All that for a cold! She is doing much better now and is back to her smiling self. We went to visit Brianna's Dada and Mema this past weekend. She was so good for everyone and we had such a great time seeing all of our family. Brianna was able to meet several of her aunts and cousins. Her Aunt Kim, Aunt Marcia and Dakota helped give her a bath in Mema's big tub. Uncle Dale and Aunt Kayla were able to spend some much needed time with her too! And on Saturday Brianna got a real treat, she was able to meet Gran Gran Hallman and Great Granny Helen for the very fist time! Well, I hope you enjoy the few pics we were able to get.
